Losing your device with the eSIM installed can be concerning, but there are steps you can take to protect your account:

  1. Remote Lock and Wipe: If your device has remote lock and wipe capabilities, use them to remotely lock your device and erase any sensitive data. This helps prevent unauthorized access to your personal information.

  2. Contact Your Carrier: Immediately contact OXIO to report the loss of your device. Inform us that your eSIM was installed on the lost device and request to deactivate it to prevent unauthorized use.

  3. Change Passwords: Change the passwords for your online accounts, especially those linked to your device or carrier account. This adds an extra layer of security and prevents unauthorized access to your accounts.

  4. Monitor Account Activity: Keep a close eye on your account activity for any suspicious or unauthorized transactions. Report any unusual activity to your OXIO immediately.

  5. Consider Insurance: If you have insurance for your device, check if it covers lost or stolen devices with eSIMs. This may help cover the cost of a replacement device.
